Frenchman Valley Farmers Coop
Imperial, NE
For
both visual and mythic reasons, I've long been attracted to grain elevators,
grain harvest, and the
people who move and process wheat, corn, soybeans across the Great Plains
and Midwest, and it seems
only natural to collect some of my many photographs
of these subjects in one place, in an exhibit that illuminates the modern
manifestation of this ancient human endeavor. The images are drawn from
the
Great Plains project, from Reflecting a Prairie Town,
and from additional photographs made to round out
the project.
